Designbuds (Framer templates)

Designbuds is a Framer creator studio that publishes free website templates for local businesses, freelancers and agencies, such as consulting, plumbing, handyman, gardener and agency sites. Each template is remixed into the user's own Framer project through a referral link, and the studio earns Framer affiliate commissions when those users upgrade to paid Framer plans. The site lists 7 templates and 70,603 total users.

2. Template 1

Build vertical template with booking/contact form and CMS · Publish free with affiliate remix link

Two more verticals reusing the same component system · ES/PT copy variants

Single channel (Framer Marketplace) in ≤4 weeks: 3 free vertical templates with affiliate remix links. Webflow/Wix ports and paid premium variants deferred.

1. 1

Market + i18n: native ES/PT-BR templates for LatAm local businesses

Designbuds' templates are English-only and US-styled (plumbing, handyman, gardener). Native Spanish/Portuguese templates for verticals that dominate LatAm SMB demand (consultorios, inmobiliarias, estudios jurídicos, gyms) with local address/phone formats target searches the original does not cover.

2. 2

Regional payments: Mercado Pago/Pix and WhatsApp built in

Original forms are generic contact/booking; shipping templates pre-wired with WhatsApp click-to-chat, Mercado Pago payment links and Pix QR blocks removes the main setup work a LatAm business needs on day one.

3. 3

Pricing gap: free lead template + paid premium variant

All 7 Designbuds templates are free and monetize only through Framer affiliate payouts; pairing each free template with a paid premium version (extra pages, CMS, local integrations) adds direct revenue that does not depend on Framer's program.

4. 4

ICP wedge: LatAm freelancers and small agencies

Offer agency bundles and white-label licensing to freelance web designers in AR/BR/MX who resell sites to local clients, a B2B channel the consumer-browse marketplace model does not target.
